Is it an immutable law of our universe that change is always born of chaos? Is there something about creation that requires destructive force?
An object at rest tends to stay at rest unless acted upon by another force.
The death of a star creates a supernova. Extreme heat and pressure make diamonds. The strike of a match creates flame. The big bang created everything.
If the thing that created everything was an explosion, maybe its shockwaves are still palpable. Maybe it echoes within us.
Is it part of the human condition that before we can change, we must withstand chaos?
Muscle growth requires tissue damage. Healing wounds develop scar tissue.
When a heart breaks do same principles apply? Is something new and stronger created between the fragments?
If creation comes from chaos, what does peace create? What does inertia give us? What can we learn at terminal velocity or while floating in a vacuum?
What is the name of the dance a particle performs when observed at zero-point energy?
Perhaps the equation for creation is simply sufficient chaos, plus a catalyst. Maybe we’d do well to embrace the chaos more, resist it less. Allow it to destroy what’s old and create something new. Maybe we need a little chaos before we can find peace. And then the cycle will continue.
The universe implores us to let go. Participate in the rhythm. Let the echoes move you.
Matter is never destroyed, only displaced or changed.
